Thursday 24th February -
Into uni for 9am, class at 10am. Group meeting and then back to the residence. Visited the supermarket to buy food as I made dinner, Shepards Pie. I didn't really know how but just made it up as I went along. I boiled up a saucepan of potatos, fried the steak mince (1kg) and once the mince was cooked I added gravy to it and let it boil off until the mince was coated in gravy but not too wet then I put a layer of mince and a layer of mashed potato into a cooking tray and grated cheese on top. This went into the oven until everyone was ready to eat. I'll need to be careful that this diary doesn't become a cook-book. AEGEE Valletta organised a trip to Mdina in the evening and bussed almost all of the international students from the residence to Mdina. We were given a guided tour and then we split ourselves into groups and took part in a treasure hunt. After that AEGEE Valletta treated us to wine and pastizzi before bussing us to Paceville to go to a club called ?!?. The UESA, University Engineering Students Association, was also hosting a night out in Paceville at Qube. As the president is a member of my design team I decided to visit.
