Thursday 10th February -
Up very early to assist Antje with her trip to the hospital (no pun intended) regarding her knee. When we got back we had lunch and headed back into Valletta to see the Feast / Shipwreck of St Paul. We walked around Valletta and saw some amazing waves due to the high winds. The parade was due to start at 5.30 but we decided to go back to the residence for dinner, which Karen and Jen cooked. We went out to an welcome party in Paceville for the international students organised by AEGEE Valletta, the university students society.

This was as close as we dared go, whenever a big wave came in you had to resist the urge to jump back dispite knowing it wouldn't be able to reach you.
I think that that is Dragutt Point in the background, the waves would roll down the length of the walkway.
