Wednesday 2nd March - Italians made dinner, Easter Egypt trip meeting
Gavin, David, Karen and I went in for the first Joining and Welding Processes class which was due to start at 8am but the lecturer didn't turn up until 8.30am. This was followed by Intro to Heat Transfer (see photos). Finished classes at 12 but had a group meeting until 3. The Italians, Mikaela and Ludivika (Emma's flat-mates), made dinner for all of us which consisted of 3 courses, A tuna pasta which nearly filled us up (they never told us how many courses there was and we all guessed that the pasta was the whole meal) followed by a chicken nugget and potato bake and finished off with home-made Tirimisu. Antje held a meeting for the Easter Egypt trip, which I'm not going on as I want to go home for Easter but everyone else in the group will be plus a few others. We went to a local pub for a game or two of pool before having a reasonably early night.
A typical Introduction to Heat Transfer lecture.
Trying to read the board can lead to cross-eye.
